Coaching is a process of observation and doing that helps the coachee to acquire the right tools to overcome obstacles, mobilize his various resources and harness them in favor of achieving his goals
My name is Nachum Katz, and I am a personal and organizational coach and trainer, workshop facilitator and lecturer, accompanying managers, teams and organizations.
I came to the world of coaching as a natural continuation of a life path that was rich in command, management, training and in human support challenges in organizations. Starting in senior positions in the IDF (The Israeli Defense Forces), through managerial positions in educational institutions and business companies, including management of for profit and non-profit organizations.
I am a certified coach from the Success Unlimited Network , a American coaching school recognized by the ICF , and a graduate of an organizational coaching course at Momentum Israel , according to the NEWS method created in Switzerland. I am also a certified practitioner in the NLP method. I use a variety of methods and models, depending on the person or organization, need and situation, with the understanding that each coachee or trainee and organization has its own fascinating world, and needs ways that suit them specifically, as well as different methods or resources that we can use in the coaching process.
Growing together
During my life, I often felt like the small, gentle Galantus flower ("icebreaker, ore snow drops" in my mother tongue, Romanian) which breaks through the last frozen layer of snow, being the first to herald the coming of spring in Europe. It peeks out, white and fresh as the snow, raises its head and stretches, growing and spreading light and purity around it. Breaking glass ceilings, if you will. I was privileged to experience this process in many of my leadership roles and in solving the life challenges I faced. I bring this experience with me to every coachee, trainee, team or organization, when we come to face a challenge.
Through deep attention, poignant questions that cause thinking, curiosity and special learning abilities I entice my interlocutors into learning adventures which at the end of a meaningful discovery we harness to solve the mysteries and dilemmas in front of us.
Alongside giving, learning is my second love, and both, in addition to my special capability for empathy and the warm personal connection I create with my environment, add value to all around me. I happily share my gifts with anyone that allows me to accompany his development and discovery journey, whether as an individual, a manager or a team.
